To keep up on things that are FFR I read some of the build threads for cars besides the Hot Rod. I would just like to say thank you Lord, or FFR, for not putting so many sheet metal parts on the Hot Rod as the Roadster or the GTM! OMG! Those two cars have more sheet metal and rivets than should be allowed in any garage. I thought it took forever to drill all the holes for the Hot Rod but we have it easy!

I've built both and the roadster has a lot more drilling and riveting, sounds like the truck has even less than the hot rod.

Check out some of the Type 65 threads. Like mine. Takes it to another level over the Roadster. :p

Come on you guys! They are just rivets. Look at me; I've drilled thousands of holes for thousands of rivets over the years.

No Problem!!

I’ve done 2 roadsters. It’s not that bad. A good power drill (I use an air drill a lot also) and a pneumatic rivet fun makes short work of them all.

But there are a lot of things that are easier on the roadster. I have 280 hours in my last roadster. Finished. Painted, assembled and interior in. I’m at 240 hours in the 33 and haven’t even started it yet. Granted, I have a lot more options to work on, but I’ll have 4x the hours minimum.
