Thanks You All For Your Thoughts & Prayers!

I want to thank everyone for praying for my oldest daughter (Megan) and our grandchild that we didn't get a chance to meet.
Agitha's heart or at least her heart valves were able to be harvested so that she could help another family in need.
She also put Megan's ulcerative colitis in remission during the entire pregnancy so a helping soul she was and will always be.
Agatha Nicole Abney, who was born and died on the same day will be put to rest this Saturday.

That is our faith, our belief, about what life in Christ is. But we still struggle with what we should do. As you stand by the graveside we stare into the mystery of death with a greater mystery still, the mystery of risen life. In the meantime there is grief, and nothing in Christian faith asks us to deny grief. We have known, all of us, someone who made an immense difference. We thank God for just that much. And we ask God for just enough strength to handle our grief. While no words or gestures will ever be enough to comfort the pain experienced by Megan for her child, God's response to our tears is the offer of hope - hope in the promise of eternal life.

UPDATE:

Megan is out of the hospital and now at our home.
She and her husband Nicolas have moved in for a while so that her mom, my better half, can properly take care of her.
Today is her 28th birthday so we had a family dinner, which included her in laws who are also a very supportive pair.
