View Full Version : Drivers side dash pod installed

Finally had some time to spend on the car. I mounted the drivers side defrost duct to the frame so it’s stationary. Added some foam to seal against the dash top. This way the dash can be removed without worrying about the defrost duct.
Added the headlight switch, and key ignition, then wired in the gauges.
Of course it had to rain so couldn’t drive it to check if the speedo works, but all the light work, and the tach does too.

I like the gauges! I like the pod you made too.


You should design a center fill button for the steering wheel to finish the look. Shoot me the dimensions for the design I'll make you one from aluminum on the lathe.

I spent all day working on my car today too. First time I have worked on it at all in 7 weeks.

I made a center button for my GTM style steering wheel and removed the black plastic horn button.
It really helps complete the look.
