Hi,
Has anyone here used a Kirkey series 65 seat?
I with there was somewhere close that I could go and try one on for size.

Look at the 45 series seats too - I like them.

I have the 47 series. I looked on their website and the 65 is the new replacement to the 47 which is no longer made. Looks essentially the same to me. I am very pleased with mine. I have the 16" width. The 17" will fit in the roadster. Depending on your size the 17 may be preferable.

Difference is that the 47 was fixed back while the 65 has an adjustable back so that you set the angle for your preference.

Even better. I just bought some kirkey mounts that allowed me to set the base at the angle of recline I desired.
May be easier this way. Of course the body interference with the high backs will limit your recline anyways depending how far back you mount them.

I’m running the 55 series in the 17” width with the Kirkey adjustable mounts. I like them very much and they hold you in laterally quite well. My thinks no was they would fit better without the “ears”. I haven’t installed my body yet. I’m only 5 hrs from you:cool:

That is the other option I was thinking about.

Exactly Scott, although there may be some who like the bottom flat and forward along with having the back reclined.

I would do that as well. Realized I wanted those after the install.
