I have been reading 818 posts for 6 years, It helped immensely with my build, this is my first post, finished & registered my 818s 11/2014. I enjoj taking it to car shows & driving it but am having hard time controlling my urge to drive it to its limit even tho I am 71. Time to move on & sell it.

I'm happy you have found the forum useful, and I'm sorry you've decided to move on. I upgraded your account for full access so you can post in the classifieds, add pictures, update your profile, etc.
Let me know if you need any help getting a for sale thread posted.

At 73 I understand the performance issues and age. A couple of times mine got pushed harder than it should have been. The good news is that it behaved like it should leaving a reasonable margin of safety in spite of me being to aggressive. If I'm not in the right frame of mind it stays home! I have to be careful at 3K because the boost comes on like a switch. Maybe a tune could smooth it out. I live where there are lots and lots of 15 to 30 MPH curves. The bad news is the rock walls and cliffs if one gets too loose!
Good luck

How was your registration experience in New York?
Any pointers?
