Hi all,
After 2 years and much effort, money and great advice from people on this forum, 8846 is finished and legal. https://youtu.be/qwyqcD2QmIY
Many thanks to my family and especially my wife for her patience (her car was out of the garage for nearly 2 years). Special thanks to Edwardb and others on this forum for all the info they so freely offered. The car was much fun to build. It came with its own set of challenges but working through them one at a time gives me a great sense of accomplishment. I truly miss the build process. Now the driving fun begins.
The car was truly a labor of love
Mk4 complete kit
427w from Engine Factory complete with clutch and tranny
Hydualic clutch and mechanical throttle linkage from Forte's
Many components too numerous to mention from Breeze
Same for **********, Whitby, Dark Water Customs, Russ Thompson, and others.
I must say thank you for all the info available from everyone on this and the other forum..it took me awhile but after a couple of months of building I finally learned to read up on processes before I started them.
To anyone out there considering a build I say go for it. It's an experience never forgotten. Once again thanks to all and thanks to Dave and the crew at FFR for a great product.

Thank you all for the kind replies. I hope those of you in the build process enjoy it as much as I did and those finished with their builds enjoy the cruising as much as I.
