Good day Roadster builders. I am now assembling the t bird irs brake assemblies. I bought these from Mike Forte. They are the wilwood 12.19 discs, with the drum emergency brake. They came with 2 backing plates per side. 1 is drilled for the irs type, and the other that is bolted together appears to be for the stick axle. The exploded view diagram shows the assembly for the stick axle. It seems as though I should swap the backing plates, which I have already done on 1 side, but this leaves the emergency brake activation lever at 6 o'clock rather than the 12 o'clock natural position for the stick axle. This appears to be the only way to get the drums brake activation lever enough space for cable, and lever etc. Am I correct, or did I screw everything up here.
