Hello Roadsters, I installed a 6-piston brake set up on my MkIV. The brakes appear to be sticking randomly. I bled them thoroughly and I have good pedal resistance. Any suggestions?

Sam,
Sam,
Is the pedal making contact with the cross bar in the foot box? If so, you will need to shorten the master cylinder push rods to let the pedal fully relax, thereby letting the master cylinder completely release pressure.

Yes it is hitting the cross member. Wow, sounds like another body removal. That's gonna suck. Thank you Dave.

Be conservative when shortening the rods. It doesn't take much to get the clearance you need.

You can adjust the MC pushrod to clevis location through the little access panel on the top of the driver's footbox. You do have that panel, right? You may need to shorten the MC pushrod slightly (I think that's mentioned in the manual) to allow enough adjustment.
