I think I have this figured out but would like input and verification. I have the 2017 gen 2 version of the coyote motor and have been trying to figure out what i needed to do to plumb the CMCV system. Most everything I read indicated that the hose and splitter need to be purchased and installed on the left side of the head to give the controllers a vacuum signal as this picture shows. Even Ford performance tech indicated that this needed to be done.

I found a post on this forum that I can't find again that stated a change was made in 2017 and the lines on the left side were no longer needed. I am currently go carting that way. I do have the line coming out from under the passenger side of the intake hooked to vacuum at the throttle body. Can someone confirm this please.

Also answered on the other thread on this subject. You don't need anything else on the LH side of the engine. Your version of the Coyote (2017) eliminated the hose from the CMCV vacuum motors to the intake. They are now vented directly to atmosphere at the back of the engine with modified parts.

BTW, the hose and splitter on the LH side previously used didn't provide a vacuum signal. That's the function of the hose on the RH side. Hooked to the vacuum port by the intake, it pulls a vacuum on the reservoir in the intake, which in turn is connected to the CMCV motors. Shown in the diagram you posted.

Surprised at the variation in answers from the Ford Performance tech line.

Thank you for the reply. I thought I had it figured out, then the Ford tech made me question myself.
