Hi ya'll, Im Scott and I make pizzas for a living for the past 25 years! Im over pizza and ready to use my handy man skills to challenge me to something Ive always loved, cars. I had a 67 Camaro and it was my first classic car and now I want something I can control and build myself. So, challenge accepted. Wish me luck and very excited to be part of the 33 Factory Five Family.

Welcome Scott. The great thing about the 33 is, you can set the look of the build and the degree of difficulty to suit your tastes and skill level.

Thank you guys. No there won't be any pizza on this car but I may do a custom license plate incorporated with Pizza Guys. Then I will write it off. Im in the Sacramento area of California. I will post stuff shortly. Thanks

Hi Scott, this is Steve up in Vancouver Canada. Looking forward to hearing/seeing more of your build. What "configuration" are you thinking of (engine, tranny, diff, fenders, etc...)?

Got the stage 1 finally last week. Finally finished inventory and found out I got some wrong parts and also there are a lot of items that were on back order. So I called yesterday and they said Hmm I wonder why you didn't get most of the parts since they were in stock. So I can't really do front suspension, steering, rear suspension or rear brakes until I get all the parts. Hopefully next week I get all the parts. So Im starting with a perfectly leveled chassis for firewall and will install master cylinders and start running brake lines.

Anyone missing bolts and nuts? Some steps are either missing or wrong size. This happened once so far. I had to go buy a grade 8 nut and bolt for the steering rack.

I bought a few assorted packages of nuts, bolts, washers, etc. You can never have too many of them.
You'll find that some of the FFR hardware is SAE and some are metric.

GETTING THERE. Sorry for not posting pics as to I just figured out how to post pictures. Up next are horns, fuel lines and motor install this Saturday.
Question: Is it ok to just go with all nylon fuel lines in replace of aluminum ones that are supplied by FFR?

Looking sharp - is the firewall painted or powdercoat? Satin black looks good...
I have no reason to think nylon wouldn't be OK. On the other forum is a guy from Canada (S13 - look for his build thread "33 LS1/T56 Build" or his Youtube channel "The Compound") who ran all nylon. One of his videos has some good tips & tricks and what kit he used to run the fuel system in nylon.
