I don't have a Factory 5...yet, but I am considering a 65 Daytona.

I have a 35 truck I’m building now and should have the motor installed in a few weeks. However I’m not in the quad cities but a couple hours east by elgin.

My 10 year '69 Trans Am clone project is almost finished and I'll need something to do. I'm crunching the numbers right now on either a regular or R version of the '65 coupe...as it compares to doing a fastback conversion on a rust free 66 mustang that I have an opportunity to buy. Midway Mustangs is 30 minutes from my house, so I have access to all of the late-model Mustang parts a guy could want!102211

I know this is an older thread but figured I would throw my hat in the ring. Saving, & planning my build for a 65 coupe. I'm out of Eldridge Iowa. Anyone still in the QC area with a FFR Car, or a Daytona coupe?

Still here in the QC's but no closer to a Roadster yet. Youngest graduates college in May so maybe after that...
