I am replacing the tired donor motor (stock '90 302 EFI) in my Mk-3 with a rebuilt short block and Trick Flow Track Heat top end kit. I have the new 80mm MAF and 75mm throttle body but need some insight on the best replacement for the stock plastic intake tubing. (Yes, I know those parts are oversized for this engine but leave the door open for a possible blower in the future.) The MAF comes with a conical air filter attached, so I'm just looking to replace the "elbow" from the t-body to the MAF. Was looking at this: http://www.andersonfordmotorsport.com/anderson-economy-4-power-pipe-af-0113c/ but not sure if it will fit in the MK-3 engine bay.

I know lots of guys have done similar upgrades in the past and want to glean the best info possible before I drop $$$ on something that doesn't work.

Thanks!

Ouch!
You could just reuse your current elbow and use a reducer between the MAF and current elbow.

Could any of these components be of use to you?

I purchased goodies from them to duct fresh air into my foot boxes.
