I finished my 818 a couple of years ago, in white, the original gelcoat color.
Now, over the winter, I completed applying the vinyl wrap.

Here are the pics.

Looks great! I am about half way through wrapping mine. Have you applied vinyl before or was this your first time?

Rob-

That's a terrific job! I really like the color combo, and the location of the accents is perfect!

It really looks fantastic, and I am sure it will turn heads wherever it goes. Thanks for sharing.

Very, very well done!!

Regards,

Steve

The car looks great Rob. The Gulf colors highlight the shape of the car, and I really like your design of the front bumper area, it really improves the look. Mind if i incorporate aspects of that design? ;).
Nice spoiler too, what did it come off of?

Your car looks fantastic. Great use of the colors and design. Was this a first time wrap for you? I really like what you have done.

Great job, it looks great ! I am considering wrapping my hot rod, my first attempt at the inside of the trunk was a total failure, but I believe it was because the wrap was a poor quality. Which brand of wrap did you use, and how many people did it take?

Yes, this was my first time, and there is not one panel, on the car, without something messed up on it. The wing came out best because that was the last piece that I did.

I feel that the issue is that its fiberglass and so, I could not use any magnets, to hold the vinyl, on the car, while I tried to heat and stretch it, with only two arms.

I pulled each fiberglass part from the car, and covered them in the basement, mostly by myself.

My wife, and her son, occasionally helping on a few pieces, but I think it would have came out much better with help on every piece.

It was done with the 3M 1080 wrap, some of which came from Cheatah.

As for the rear wing, that is the standard issue wing, found on a 2004 WRX Sedan, which came from my donor.

I am wondering how the wing might look in orange, instead of the blue.

Feel free to incorporate what I have done, in yours. Don't forget to at least mention, that you saw it on my car first. :-)
