HIT THE LAKE! CRUISE THE WATER WHIP!
Figured we'd get one or two last camping trips before the wife pops! Due Sept 24th... hopefully my May Delivery date doesn't take that long, too!

Nice, thats some serious glass you have out there. I was planning on dropping my boat in last weekend but my boys had too much neglected homework...

There go kids screwing up another family outing.... :)
Yeah, we were the only wake boat on our side of the lake. That whole cove was US and surfing!

Your choice was good.
Otherwise, in your spare time...
Read everything you can that helps to identify what specific parts / tools / skills you need to accomplish your build goals.
Shop craigslist + ebay for half price parts / tools (or less).
Repeat as necessary.
(but absolutely always maintain your wife's pretty smile)
Good Luck.

The wife read that and says thanks!
I'm tooled up (technician and then body tech by trade, retired to office) and I have PARTS GALORE awaiting install.
Thanks for the motivating response and compliment to my MUCH better half!

More surf videos for those who surf!!! This is Lake Berryessa and below is Lake Folsom, both great options for surfing!

Yeah, not sure how you managed that, but it certainly appears you married up!
But to the subject at hand, one of the better “waiting” projects for me was shop prep. Paint the walls. Install better lighting if needed. Paint or mop the floor. (This one in particular was a “Glad I did that” thing as you will likely find yourself crawling about on the floor. Much nicer, and probably safer, working in a clean environment. And, much easier to do it now than later.)

Hahahaha, no argument here. Just keeping her happy.
The garage is ready... savings those pennies for upgrades and the things I haven't realized I still need. In this case, need usually equals "wants". :)

Great video. I grew up around Folsom Lake. Learned to ski there. Great fishing and relaxing lake. Our HS senior cut day was on the beach there. Great times.

Thanks! It's a blast! Was really happy with the water, though wouldn't make for great wakeboarding.

Spending time on the lake with family and friends is a great way to go!
