Hi,
I would like to test fit my coyote engine.
I want to see what I have to modify, for my t56 transmission mount, for the mid shifter, and measure for a drive shaft.

My Dilemma is that I can’t seem to find the motor mounts. I have a feeling that they weren’t ordered.
I ordered my mk4 with the coyote fitment kit. I did receive the motor mount spacers. I ordered my motor from Mike Forte. ( buy the way, a great guy, and great service) I don’t see it on the list of things ordered with it.

Do I just go to Napa and order a mount for a 1990 mustang or do I need something special?

Thanks ahead of time.

Should have been a part of your kit from FFR, assuming you specified coyote with your order.

Basic kit does not include motor mounts. Complete kit includes motor mounts. Which did you order? They aren't part of the Coyote completion kit. They're a standard kit item, depending on the kit.

Factory Five provides for the Coyote (and previous mod motors) Energy Suspension 4.6L Mustang Motor Mounts 4.1127G, Energy Suspension Transmission Mount 4.1104G when part number 15440 is selected on the complete kit order form. They're in a pretty big box in one of the large kit boxes and would be hard to miss.

Thanks,
I did not order the complete kit. Because of the sale in January I ordered the base kit and all of other parts separately. Or at least I thought I ordered all of the extras. It has been kind of a pain finding out I’m missing something here and there. I probably wouldn’t do that again.

Thanks for the part number. Hopefully I can get it locally, or else I’ll get it from ffv.

Message forum member Duke. HE has a coyote/t56 in his car. He could probably tell you exactly what you need for driveshaft length. He used IRS. Doesn't help with the mounts but might be helpful otherwise.

Here is his build thread

In stock at Summit Racing. Free shipping and you'd have them in 1-2 days. Because of where I'm located, stuff I order that comes from their Ohio location (almost everything) is on my porch the next day with standard shipping. You might be a day longer.

Don't forget the motor mounts need FFR spacers for correct engine placement.
,,,, and they are bare steel, need coating or painting. FFR sends longer bolts to hold it all together, after the spacers are installed.

He mentioned in the first post he has the spacers. But nothing to mount them to. :p
