I need the finger tab to put under my glove box door latch. I noticed edwardb used a VW latch with the tab. Does anyone have a source for just the finger tab that will fit the FFR button latch?
thanks,

You could try this - double check measurements: https://www.amazon.com/JR-Products-00195-Stainless-Finger/dp/B002UC1AQY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1527974496&sr=8-4&keywords=finger+pulls+for+marine

Just curious why you need the pull with the FFR latch since it has to be used with the key to open it? The VW latch that edwardb recommends allows you to use the latch without the key and incorporates the pull into the latch. I'm using the same latch and love it.

I also made my own catch bar:

The VW latch is only a few dollars more than the pull by itself:

Thanks Papa. I will look at both. My door does not fall open when the latch button is pressed. My dash is not mounted yet, but I do not think that will change the door opening. With the key in the open position, the key will pull out, if you try to use it to open the door. I would have thought the key would stay in, but not so.
thanks,

Interesting. The lock that was supplied with my dash didn't have a button at all, only the cam lock. If yours has a button, then the pull makes perfect sense.

I used what is called a "thumb pull" in the world of RV / camper cabinet hardware. This one is stainless steel - they usually come in two-packs are are really cheap.

Thanks Papa and Gumball. I ordered the thumb pull Papa linked. Nice car Gumball!
I probably misstated about the buttom being pressed. It has been over a week since I worked on the dash and that is way past my memory storage time.
