Breeze - radiator hinge - question on positioning

I'm building my roadster (complete kit with the FFR radiator provided), and I am about to install the Breeze radiator mounting hinge. I notice in the standard installation instructions from FFR, the radiator is to be off center by 5/8". With the Breeze instructions, it seems they are directing me to center the radiator.

Has anyone installed the hinge recently with success that can clarify what works or doesn't?

I had a similar question when I installed mine, and ended up aligning it so that I could reach the intake port of the radiator without any problems (putting on the hose and handling the clamps with no interference. That has worked for me. I did have to grind some of the tow hook away so that the radiator hose wouldn't hit it, but that may have happened anyway.

I also took out the radiator aluminum side pieces and checked to see how they would fit if I were to move my radiator one way or the other.
