July 15th, Mid-day. Just completed the build and I decided the best place to "shake-down" the car and learn tha handling capabilities would be to take it to a local SOLO 2 Auto Cross event at Deer Park, just north of Spokane Washington. My passenger is LT Jones who had the opportunity to race the original 289 and 427 at Riverside California in the 60's. He convinced me that I would like the great handling of the small block. He was right, I sure do like it!!! Location
