Alternate Wiring harnesses for the 818

Is Iwire the only solution for wiring harnesses for the 818 other then the original harness

Very Cool Parts, Wayne Presley, also makes one which I am using. It changes out the Subaru ECU for an MP3 pro. It is a couple hundred bucks less than the I wire. There are several people on the forum that have used them with success. I just received mine and in the process of hooking it all up.

I highly suggest the Very Cool parts Harness. Of the 3- 818's I have built that harness was the best IMO.

Double check the rules for registration in your area. If it requires an emissions test with an ECU plug in, the factory ECU would be needed. And in general the stock ECU works really well and has a ton a support for tuning.
