So I started converting and rebuilding my carburetor yesterday. It is a Holley 4160 which I am converting to a 4150 by adding a second metering block and jets. I started pulling it apart yesterday and found that apparently someone has been into it already. It has two different floats in it. I know that you can buy either one as a replacement but was wondering if the two different materials would cause any problems.

What do y'all think?

So I guess in this case all of the primaries are metal and the secondary is plastic. I figured that the PO of the carb had gotten into it.
