Did what I thought was a correct routing of the cable but they are a couple inches too long. Attached to e brake caliper, routed it over the rear pumpkin, through the two holes supplied and still there is too much slack. If I go over the 4" frame pipe, the cables arei too long, Under the pipe its too short.
Assuming you have Wilwood brakes, you need to install the two extensions for an under-the-frame routing per the manual.

Keep in mind that the picture was taken before the hardware was tightened up, which will collapse the clevises and help keep the swaged ends of the cables from coming out.

I did all that with the clevis but since the cables are so long the double whole clevis mechanism just kind of sags. My problem must be in the routing. Do you have any pics of how you routed them. I just read in the Wilwood instructions that the DS and PS cables are different lengths. Did you find that to be the case?

My cable routing is shown in my build thread. Make sure your cables are clipped into the correct frame mount and they should come together like the picture above. You will need to adjust to get the tension right.

on one pic I taped string to the cable to better see. The second pic is showing the cable end too long

Where did you get those extenders shown circled in you pic? I don't see them referenced in either the main or supplemental manuals.

The extenders are shown on page 242 of my build manual (Rev 3Y, September 2014).
Neither my complete kit nor my Wilwood kit included the extenders. I fabricated some starting with a couple of U-bolts. The crosspiece from each U-bolt serves as a spacer. After a test fit, I determined I needed to drill a hole to accept the 1/4” bolt that goes through the rod end. I drilled the hole a bit off-center, so that as the brake cables stretch I can flip the spacer around if needed to take up slack.

They were included in my kit. They were in my box #20 (WILWOOD SOLID AXLE BRAKELINE PARTS); part #15672 (WILWOOD E-BRAKE CABLE ADAPTER. My manual explains them on page 261: "If using Wilwood brakes attach the two spacer brackets included with the brakes between the clevises." My manual is Revision 41, April 2017.
