T56 shifter location

Could someone with a t56 tell me which position you use.
I am looking to put it where the tko 600 would call the mid shift position for quick easy shifting.

I'm running SBF with original T56 in a Mk4 - so measurements may vary to Coyote / T56 Magnum.

But I'm running the furthest forward shift position in your T56 magnum illustration (on my original T56).


Which appears to put it close to the TKO 600 midshift position (not furthest forward).


TKO midshift plate appears silver below - generic google image search on TKO in Mk4.

Ignore that post,

I think I found my answer. I saw a picture of a t56 installed with the tunnel uncovered.
It’s the forward position I want. I have seen that location called both mid and forward.
