I did a search but didn't find this posted yet. Sorry if it turns out to be a duplicate...

The url link to the original story does not work. The forum overwrites a certain last name in the url with asterisks, which is completely understandable. You can click on it but then you'll have to edit the url in your browsers address bar. Admins if posting this url, even as edited, is not kosher please delete.

...and now they're up for sale: Hemmings Motor News: AC C*bra parts for sale (http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/partsforsale/ac/cobra/1264663.html&refer=news)

Very cool - best part about the photo is seeing the tabs just inside the vent opening in the front "wing" to hold the louvers; sure to help me in making the brackets for my ********** louvers.

These have been floating around and advertised for sale for over a year. At 25K they are likely not going anywhere soon.

And, if they were really made in '70, doesn't that just make them 41 year old reproduction parts since S***by American had rolled-up the sidewalk and the old man had moved to Africa for some big game hunting a few years earlier?

That's kinda cool, you just don't find stuff like that every day. I remember Carl "the original Mr Mustang" Pendley, he was also from Ohio had a 1966 Mustang in a crate. It was some type of insurance test car that never got crashed. It was amazing to see and truly the only one. Unfortunately it was in his building when it burned to the ground. I like cool old NOS parts, you can learn a lot when you get to see them.
