I've been using (looking) at an older manual I purchased on line and the one that came with the car when I began building (on line's images are sharper and in color) - I didn't notice at the time but the on line (older) manual said to install front shocks body up, and reviewing my steps just today, realized the newer manual said install them bottom down. I thought I read it didn't matter for the front shock? Obviously no big deal to swap - thoughts?

If I recall correctly the older red variety of Koni with the FFR part number 14622 can be mounted either way. Body up gets better access to the spring adjustment nuts.

Walter,

I attended the Build School and they recommend installing them body up on the front and body down on the rear. Body down on the rear helps keep the e-brake cables from entering the springs and getting crushed. I just installed my rear ones last night body down just as we did in school.

Cheers! Steve
