View Full Version : It's finally getting "real"
So, I've been pretty quiet about my upcoming build, just reading, researching and planning. However, I placed my order for my MK4 kit in February and finally got the order confirmation call last week. As of yesterday, it just got "real". Here is what showed up as the first few pieces to the puzzle:
2017 GT Performance Pack IRS assembly
8395783958
FR500 wheels 17x9 & 17x10.5
8395983960
I also received my shipping confirmation of the Wilwood Disc Brakes for the build!

Welcome to the party!!
I also ordered in Feb, but am having delivery delayed until mid May. We seem to be on parallel courses...

Seems like it. I just got an email from Stewart Transport that they are delayed 21 days. Not sure if this is a good thing or not for the current situation. I'm still shuffling cars around the garage trying to plan the build without having to play musical cars every weekend.

Yeah! HAHA! Once my kit and parts were paid for (week before last)... I started getting REALLY antsy! Hahaha
Agree on the madness thing! But it's a good type of madness!
LOVE THE WHEEL SELECTION! Running those in 18s on my Coupe build. Don't forget to HAVE fun and don't OVER engineer... too much!
