Sometimes I forget what a great job I have. Last night it had been a long day and it was HOT out. I decided the old 427 FE Mk3 of mine needed some miles. I drove 45 miles home (I have a long commute) and was reminded yet again why I love my job. Sun setting in the windshield as I drove home, the engine thundering away and those 15” race tires humming on the highway… Just perfect. I stopped for gas near home to get a cold drink, chatted with some biker kids, got home and pulled into my garage as it was getting dark.

I was going inside when I realized what a perfect choice I had made for the ride home. The “Old School” Mk3 with the dual carbs big block and 15” pin drives was sitting next to my 1968 VW bus…. It could have been 1968 from all appearances. Thanks guys for allowing me and the crew at FFR to work for you, the work is hard, but every once in a while the benefits are awesome!

Dave - In a way, we're all living the same dream. You took the risks to make it possible and you brought each and every one of us along for the ride. For that, we all owe you thanks.

Dave you still have one more product to produce ( my dream, it'll outsell the 818 internationally. as well as domestically), after the 818 is done and then you can call it a day!.....Steven,

Charles, Let me know how I can help, and again, we're all happy you are OK.
Rip, I was just talking to a friend of mine who writes for Popular Mechanics and he asked "what ever happened to your plans to launch that ____. Then i saw your comment! It'll happen man, we are just very thin these days!

You are living the life Dave....did I count 6 surfboards? Thanks for helping all of us crazy Roadster lovers drive a car that is not practicle, at all, but more fun than a barrel of monkeys.

Dave, it was a pleasure to do business with you, and the fact that you are so grounded speaks of your character. Your commitment to your customers is second to none, and I for one am very thankful for what you do. You allow OUR dreams to materialize.
Thank You....

Oh yea, let me know when you want me to do that "thing" that you asked me about when I brough my car down.....

Dave, I guess you are the only guy that can not only say "I built it", but can also say "I built the whole company". That is way cool in my book. :)

Dave, I know what you mean! You know, it's been 13 years since I built #1268 and still EVERYTME I jump on the freeway it still brings a smile to my face. My first ride in a cobra was back in 67, I met a young guy that had a early # roadster and he gave me a ride, I was sold and my dream finally came true when I finished #1268, thanks Dave and Mark.
