Joe, I think our 2011 has all of its reservoirs replaced with Moroso aluminum versions, but I'll check when I get to work. Shame you didn't ask last week when we had our 2012 Boss 302 press car!

Joe, bad news, the car has Moroso tanks on it now. Good news, the guys at Muscle Mustangs took photos for Moroso to build the tank, so as soon as they dig up the images from the build up of the car I can email them to you. Hang tight...

I found a picture, thank you.
The current Ford modular cooling system layout brings three lines in to the recovery/degas tank. There is a large line on the bottom that comes from the water pump, a small line that comes from the top of the radiator, and a small line from the upper radiator hose "Y" junction. There is NO conventional radiator cap with overflow tube. The system is designed with an expansion area at the top and a 16# relief cap. Furthermore, the tank is divided into 6 compartments. I wanted to keep the factory arrangement, but the Canton and Moroso direct fit tanks are $250 plus. An OEM 2011 GT tank is $80, while an OEM non-GT is $40. I needed to see the difference between the two OEM versions, and it is the small line from the upper hose "Y". It's easy to add that connection to a non-GT tank, so it looks like I'll spring for the $40 and make the mod. Looking at the tank top, it looks like I could tee the two small hoses together and not install another fitting.

Any chance you could post the pictures and a part number. I am going through the same process and would like the aluminum tanks and a diagram or photo.
Thanks

I thought I posted to this guess not. There are two steam vents, one from the engine and one from the radiator. We replaced the petcock in the rad with a 90 and ran it to the tank. The other runs from the front top of the engine. HTH, Richard.

Richard, I know where all the pies go but I have an older tank that was missing one port. The picture I got tells me what I wanted to know. Thanks for the all the suggestions.
