After a minor engine disaster (never use an air cleaner top with screws that can come loose and get sucked in and cause havoc) I have to pull the 347 out and have decided to jump up to a Dart 427W.
So, I'll be needing an intake manifold, preferably Air Gap or maybe Vic Jr, alternator bracket and maybe PS pump and a 7.5" depth oil pan. Watcha got?

Aghh that does not sound like a happy ending. Good point on the air cleaner....

do you need a Cam? I have a comp cam see cam card below. I'd intended to build a monster 8000 rpm 302,but my needs are different now. I think a 302 fits. Includes solid lifters. Hmm, can't attach, must be too junior a member. Contact me if interested via PM

I will be looking for a cam but I'll be going hydraulic roller, thanks. Got dizzy taken care of, so just need an intake and pan. I'm thinking Air Gap or Vic Jr for intake.
Likewise, I have an Edelbrock RPM Air Gap intake and a Kevko cobra kit car oil pan available. $275 shipped for either. Pan will come with the matching pickup.
