Being a fan of the British cars from the 50’s and 60’s, which of course is what the Cobra is based on, I’ve spent some quality time reading about some of the racing cars, road racing, rallying, and such from those days. One of the common looks for the big Healeys & such were the large driving lights mounted on the front similar to your pics.

During some of my wee hours fitful half asleep-half awake, dangerous journeys inside my own troubled and maladjusted mind, which has been irreparably damaged from welding fumes, cleaning fluids, dust particles and exposure to too much rust and petroleum, I’ve pondered how a roadster would look with those lights mounted on to, say, .... the quick jacks???

So now, besides you waking up those overdone monster creations, you’ve gone and infused the Mr Hyde juice with thoughts of a flir camera! Humm, lights on the quick jacks, .... the camera could be mounted in the oil cooler slot.....

Must,...fight,...the,...temptations........don’t,. ..listen,....to,....the,.....voices....

Not quick jack mounted, nor over-sized, but I like the roadster with driving lights..

This is what I did in a previous life. Hella Black Magic lights and Hella 7" conversions. Plenty of light.
Brackets hooked in behind the quick jacks, it looked like the lights were floating in the cowl. Sure made the road signs pop.
