I was trying to "friend" and add contacts for any Florida owners on the list, and probably not capturing it very well. So I looked and found that you can create a group.
About myself.
Retire recently from Columbus Ohio from a large bank.
I've ordered (#10 BTW- number 5 production model) a 35 Hot Rod Pickup which is due 5/12
Beneteau 311 sailboat in Gasparilla Marina in Placida Florida.
Amateur gunsmithing, and like to practice putting holes in paper about once a month with lead projectiles.
I live in Rotonda West Florida between Englewood and Port Charlotte.
Hopefully we can organize a get together in Sebring? sometime in the future.

As you know I am in Punta Gorda (Deep Creek Subdivision).
I work from home for a company in NY but travel there at least once a month.
I throw money at my MkI. No boats anymore and also enjoy making holes in paper with freedom seeds about once a week.
My wife is retired and I wish I was too.

In Pensacola, way up here north and west.
Building a MKIV complete kit.
Retired aerospace. 32 years with the heritage company that built the Corsair, thus my avatar.
From TN, farm boy, so when I’m there (frequently), it’s tractors, Landcruisers, and practicing my marksmanship.
Renovating a house in Pensacola that was built in the late 70’s, old house but on the water. AND building the Cobra. Have a Hobie 16 catamaran, (want to replace my keel boat I sold couple years back, at some point.)
Don’t know how I had time to work.

Thanks! Have loved the Corsair since grade school. Strange twist of fate that put me working for the company.
I’m still a newbie to Pensacola, but loving it so far!
Looking forward to exploring this wonderful gulf coastline.

I am living in Norway but have a house in Merritt Island. A Type 65 is on order with 6/16 as delivery date. The car is to be built when I am in Florida so I guess I can become a member of this exclusive group?
