LS3 Motor Mount Question

Hey Guys,

I just got my LS3 motor mounts and checked them against the holes in my LS3 and it appears they are further aft compared to the pics in the build manual. Looking at the manual it looks like the mounts are under the forward most exhaust port, mine look to me closer to the second. My motor is still crated up so I'd have to do some work to get some pics, but wanted to ask if anyone could share photos of their LS3 with the motor mounts installed in the proper location to make sure I got the right stuff. I'm going to post this on both forums and see what I get.

Here is my LS7. All LS motors mount the same.

I'm pretty sure that all of the motor mount brackets (LS1, LS3, LS7) are all basically the same as far as where they locate the rubber motor mounts. Yes, there are some small differences in the castings to allow for different mount bosses on the block and clearance for different AC compressors, but I'm about 95% sure that the 3 hole pattern is the same on all of them and all of them place the rubber motor mounts at the same height and fore/aft position on the engine for all LS engines.
