I’ve decided to withdraw the roller offering. I’m just now completing the conversion from Hilborn 8 stack efi to Holley carburation and will sell it as a completed car. It’s a terrific build and will be a really well sorted, reliable fun roadster. I’m hoping I can start a completely new for sale post. So look for it in the next week or so. Pics coming. Available with accessory takeoffs and and option for Halibrands. Meanwhile the Gen 3 Coupe is coming along nicely. Hope to show it at Huntington Beach next spring.

I’ve taken the huge step of ordering a new Daytona Gen. 3 Coupe. Hopefully Stewart will deliver in the next month. So up for sale is my FFR5015K, a Mk II roadster completely rebuilt from the ground up. I initially bought it assembled in 2005. But over the next several years I saw too many examples of how a Factory Five should be built. In 2017 a close friend who is a retired aerospace engineer and veteran of two previous Factory Five builds took the rebuild on (windtowerracing.com). The car was completely disassembled and reconstructed without much thought given to cost. But because I’ve got so much invested in the motor and it’s so well matched up to a Tremec sourced through Gordon Levy, I’ve decided to sell the car as a roller. Here’s what I’m offering:

MkII complete less engine and transmission
Total mileage less than 5,000 (less than 500 on frame off restoration)
3-link suspension with Levy Racing lower rear control arms
Koni racing shocks (sourced thru Gordon Levy)
Wilwood brakes front and rear
Sandblasted frame powder coated light gray
All panels soda blasted and powder matching light gray
New carpeting throughout
New wiring harness
Aluminum radiator and aluminum shroud
Single blackroll bar fitted with passenger roll bar provisions
Total body repaint in black (no stripe)
Wheels similar to FF#80831 and tires (tires need replacement)
Car is obviously set up for a small block ford motor in terms of engine mount location

Excluded:

408 stroker with Hilborn 8 stack efi
MSD electronic ignition
Canton Accusump and related plumbing
Tremec 5 speed transmission
Gas N stainless side pipes and headers

$24,000
Car is located near Sedona AZ and is currently street legal and diveable.
