Any suggestions on where to mount (or not mount) 2 separate brake fluid reservoirs?

Ben,

Just be sure they are higher than your master cylinders. Most mount them in front of the driver's side foot box.

82946 mine are mounted on a bracket just in front of DS footbox. Just keep in mind they need to be out past the body

Also, design some sturdy bracket. I used some left over sheet metal, but is was flimsy while driving. Ended up installing two straps to make more ridged.

I took the easy route for a bracket and just ordered steel sheet from McMaster Carr. Low-carbon steel sheet with decarb-free surface, 4"x4"x3/32". Plenty stiff even without gussets. Machine your holes, clean it up, coat to your preference. This size is just right for two of the FF-provided silver reservoirs, mounted forward of the driver's footbox.

Need reservoirs to be no less than 20" back from the radiator cross tube to have adequate hood gas strut clearance.

Mine are old-style Girling cans for a vintage look. I mounted them on a homemade bracket just forward of the front of the driver's side footbox and they clear the hood just fine.
