DMV street legal process in IL.

Hello,

I know I am still a bit away from getting ready for the actual inspection. I am wondering if I can start the registration process in parallel?
That way I can have them work the paperwork and just call/schedule when I ready for them.

Just trying to be proactive and be street legal for this summer :)

-minus the paint, I will have my boys paint (water based) the car however the wish. I hope its OK with you Jeff :)

Not sure if this link works using my phone to reply. Search this forum for getting rid of donor car and title application. Gives you contact info for the one guy in Springfield to talk with. I am going through the process now. Pretty easy so far waiting on sec of state police inspection appointment. Pm if you want to talk. Greg.

ok, just called him and got the info. Thanks!
Basically, I need to have the car 100%, and send 4 pics with the paperwork.
(he is sending the application packet now, so I can read it and prepare)
