EDIT:

So we're getting the Dart 427 Twin Turbo LS7, 1250 - 1500 HP. Wegner Automotive will build it.

Can someone tell me where I can get the following parts?
Exhaust piping system
LH/RH E-brake backing plates (includes brake shoes and cylinders)
E-brake cables - The brake lines should be done as custom braided SS lines at the time of building.
E-brake cable connection bracket (connects front cable to both rear cables)
LH/RH Exterior door handles with gaskets
Hood release handle and 2 attached cables
Wiper motor with rotating assembly and 3 mounting screws
LH/RH Seat belts w/upper bolt plastic covers
Seat belt receptacles
Steering column (w/stalks, 2 piece cover, steering wheel nut M14 x 1.5mm)(non-telescoping best)

:)

Hope someone can help!

Hi,

New to the GTM world. Just got mine a month ago.

Hoping to put in 1100hp -1500hp in the car using a LSX376-B15 (6.2L).

Anyone here every done anything like this?

There's some twin turbo GTM that have been built, not sure of the numbers, but wouldn't be overly surprised.

My main question, is what is your plan for getting the ponies to hook up to the ground

Since you're doing twin turbos, the exhaust is going to have to be all custom made from start to finish. The rest of the parts you list, if you want to buy them new, you can check with your local GM dealer or SMC. I know some of those parts have been discontinued.....like the steering column cover pieces. For any of the list that GM has discontinued making the parts, you'll have to source them from a salvage yard.

I don't recall if we have spoken already, but www.myraceshop.com does offer axles that can handle up to 2000 HP. Gearbox? Maybe a Mendeola can handle this, but you are looking at a custom build, so if you are considering a Mendeola, then I would talk to Ian ASAP as all Mendeola transaxle builds take awhile, and something that will handle 1100 HP will likely take even a bit longer.

I agree with talking with Ian ASAP. I purposely ordered my Stage 2 transaxle before I even ordered my kit. That was June of last year and the casting for my case just came into Mendeola and is headed over to his machine shop. All told, I wouldn’t think it unheard of for my final full lead time to be a year.

I agree on the Mendeola as I have been waiting for over 13 months. the sooner the better

I haven't hit the 1100hp mark, but I'm certain it would be possible if I were to turn up the boost (which of course would need a small bump in my fuel system, mainly injectors, to get there). I am running a twin turbo LSX376-B15 just as you speak of. I chose the Graziano transaxle out of a Lamborghini to handle the power. Why? I know it will handle it. Would I recommend it to others? No. It's insanely expensive and being a one-off, it's plagued with problems. My custom clutch has been my biggest problem so far.

Crash supplied my axle parts (shafts cut by a local shop as per my specs)
Lingenfelter supplied my intake.
Superlite cars supplied the adapter plates
SPEC supplied the custom clutch (basically half of a Lamborghini clutch and then a reworked SLC flywheel)

I fabbed up the rest.

I only going to tune it next for 14psi (currently at 6psi on springs). I can't imagine going any higher. I may try to hit the 4-digit mark just for kicks, but wouldn't dare run it on the streets that way.

There are a few others with TT setups that push much higher power than I do, but I'm theoretically limited to about 950hp with the injectors I'm running.
