Always check your driveshaft fit in the back of the trans BEFORE you put the trans in the chassis. If you do, you can avoid spending 2 hours trying to put a 31 spline shaft into a 28 spline transmission, and ripping the dust cover on the seal, and then wrecking two new seals trying to put them in without removing the driveshaft safety loop. You can also avoid sending 3 driveshafts back to FFR and finally getting one with the right spline count only to find that the yoke won't fit into the trans unless it is laboriously reduced in diameter by .005". I think the last 2 weeks was a test to make sure I'm worthy....

Ok - the spline count, I get.
But the .005 diameter reduction is just CRAZY!
Was that on the TKO500?
Who'duv thunk it?

They presumably aren't all oversized, but the yoke I got was most likely built by a Chinese guy on a Monday or Friday....
