I've always liked the operation of my B&M Quicksilver ratchet shifter, but I've always hated the look. So what to do? Break out the Sawsall of course!

Of course, I'd like to know what gear I'm in. Since I've eliminated the mechanical indicator on the shifter, I added a Dakota Digital display. It also has the turn signal indicators, high beam indicator, and another red LED I'm using to indicate when the overdrive is turned on.

Remnants of the Quicksilver shifter handle - I gave this to my 4 year old son, and he's been running around the house with it going "vroom...vroom...vroom" :D
