It was 60 degrees here in Southern WV today so I just had to get the car out for a ride

After about two hours I came back home and parked in front of the garage and came back out a few minutes later and the car wouldn’t start fuel but no spark changed the coil no luck Checked the resistance through the module and found a open circuit no change when then cranking the motor

I have to count myself as lucky because it failed in the driveway

I will order two pickups and keep one and some tools in the car in case it happens again

That sucks, wonder what caused it ?

I turned the key on to check some settings in the efi but didn’t start the motor that may have zapped the pickup module

Live and learn I guess

That will fry it for sure. They have to discharge, that's the D part of CD ignition;). Key on engine off causes the stored energy to cook the innards. Don't ask how I know.
