INFO ABOUT THIS AXLE: I purchased this axle in anticitation of using it to build my 35 pickup but factoryfive changes the design so it will not fit I paid over $1500 for this but will sell it for $1100 just to get some money back to buy what I need , call me at 9732220283 or email me cobraherb@yahoo.com ,Thanks Herb
This is a positive traction/limited slip/traction lok rear axle.
This rear end has a 3.55 AXLE ratio.
This is a direct replacement for 1994 1995 Mustang SVT COBRA.
This rear has 11.65 inch COBRA specific vented rear brakes.
This a direct bolt in on 94 95 3.8L v6 cars. This is a big upgrade over the weaker 7.5 inch v6 rear axles with open differentials.
This axle is 61.5 inches from brake hub to hub.
WHAT WE HAVE DONE TO THIS AXLE AFTER REMOVAL FROM THE DONOR:
The axle is removed from one of our hand selected donor vehicles
The axle is inspected by our certified technicians.
The axle is cleaned, disassembled and the housing is painted.
The differential, bearings and seals are inspected for any issue or excessive wear.
The rotors are turned and resurfaced in our lathe for trueness.
The brake backing plates and brackets are shot peened.
The calipers are removed, tested, shot peened and rebuilt if needed.
We then add: NEW brake pads, NEW brake lines, and NEW dust shields.
In addition to the treatment that ALL of our axles get listed just above, this axle *** the following UPGRADES.
NEW OEM FORD BREMBO 11.65 inch rear brake rotors.
NEW OEM FORD COBRA caliper brackets
NEW OEM FORD COBRA backing plates
NEW OEM FORD COBRA anti-moan brackets
NEW FORD RACING GEARSET AND MASTER INSTALL KIT
NEW POLYURETHANE UPPER HOUSING, CONTROL ARM BUSHINGS
NEW PINION BEARINGS AND SEALS
