I'm assuming I can skip all the instructions (and don't see parts) regarding the axle clamp brackets/upper link bracket (3-Link). I purchased the rear from FFR and the part in question is already (welded) attached? Sorry for possible a dumb and obvious question - I'm sure more will follow.
Also I see the rear requires 1.875 qt of 90 weight - should be OK to add 2 quarts? Also the manual talks about adding a "Friction Modifier" -no clue what that is or does AutoZone. ???
Thanks!!

Someone else will probably chime in on the friction modifier who knows more but Moser will likely have a recommendation, I believe it can depend on which differential you're running.
Regarding the 3-link bracket, yes, you can ignore the instructions for installing it, that's for the clamp-on style used for the non-welded units.

Not trying to confuse the issue (you've been given the correct answer already), but there is still some justification to add the third party banana bracket brace from http://vpmcobras.com/ IMO. Many of us have, and we've seen bent banana brackets.
