Used LS engine and trans

I have started looking for an LS engine and trans for my 33 build. I found some engine/trans combo's on EBAY that are out of 2010 thru 2015 camaro or corvette, what I am wondering is if the t56 trans used in these cars will work in a ffr 33 hotrod. I don't think these trans. have adjustable shifter locations like the aftermarket tremec transmissions have. Will the stock shifter locations on these transmissions work in the ffr 33.

I don't know if they fit, but my understanding is that the T56 is longer than the TKO-500 or 600 so you'll want to make sure that there is enough room for a driveshaft. The shorter the driveshaft, the more critical that the flange and yolk joints are perfectly aligned when welded to the shaft center tube (i.e. it is hard to make) and some shops won't build driveshafts that are too short because of this problem.
