New Delivery #9279 - Steering Bracket Frame Question

I received my MKIV complete kit this week and am surprised that I already have what I am hoping is a dumb question.

As I was checking for the 3/8" clearance between the aluminum and the body, I noticed in the forward cockpit that the bracket that is welded to the frame where I believe the steering pillow block will be attached looks much different than what I have seen in pictures here in the forum and what is depicted in the manual.

I am attaching 2 pictures with the suspect part circled. Can anyone tell me if I have a problem? Thanks Glenn

You don't have any problem this is a change that was made and is for the better.!

Nothing wrong with the old style, just newer style and allow for the pillow block to be closer the steering wheel
