Just wanted to thank geoffav for posting this link to my book. We have had over 50 readers come to the book via this thread and on average, each visitor has viewed more than 11 chapters in the book. So you've got some avid readers and avid rodders here at factory five forum.

For those have not yet checked out the book, it is free for viewing on-line and you are also free to download any of the text or pictures you may want. All we ask is that you honor the copyright status of the many photographers who donated their work to the project in order for us to make it available for free. You can determine the copyright by simply clicking on the thumbnail photo in the book which takes you to a full resolution picture along with the copyright info.

The book includes chapters on history of hand fabricating car bodies, a gallery of hand fabricated cars, as well as chapters on upholstery, interior and paint. But the core of the book is focused on the step-by-step fabrication of the hand built car and hand built body shown in the following photos. I realize this isn't an FF build, but hopefully you guys can find a few helpful tricks and tips that can assist in your own builds.

BTW, if you have any questions or comments about the builds shown in the book, you can ask them here on this thread or there is a clickable link at the end of every chapter in the book to ask questions about something I may not have covered in enough detail.
