Has anyone in the Springfield, MO area build or are building a Factory Five Roadster?

Come over to Gateway Cobra Club, ask over there. We have plenty of contacts around the state, Tim or Paul should know. I know there are cars in that area, I just don't know the names of the builders.

mmoen built an F5 coupe in Springfield
kpeterson is building an F5 coupe in the area.
Purple Venom is head of Gateway Cobra Club.

I'm in the KC area and am in process of building a roadster. Started on 12/26/17. 1st Start was last week, should be go-cart in the next couple of weeks. Feel free to PM me.
There is also the Mid America Cobra Club in Kansas City, which might be a little closer for you. Based on an autocross I went to last year, they hold the trophy for being the fastest drivers. We'll see about this years event on May 12th, as I hope to have my car completed by then and will likely slow down the average.
There are a couple of other builds going on in KC, at least one is an FFR. If you'll send me a PM with your contact infornation, I can put you in touch with our President.

Both clubs have great guys and host some fun events, we also have an event in Northern Arkansas (Harrison) every year, I think we're going to try Hot Springs this year

Completely agree both clubs have great guys with lots of knowledge to share. I look forward to participating is some cruises this year.
