Hi all,

I'm using a 302 small block and Trying to figure out what type of bracket and compressor people are using if they're running air conditioning. I'm waiting for whitby's new system to be released but in the meantime I'm trying to figure out if there's any mounts or brackets or condensers I should be looking for.

Photos of yours would be awesome, so I can get an idea.

FYI, I'm running a passenger side high alternator with a reverse water pump. Figuring my serpentine belt will go from alternator to the high mount driver side A/C compressor, then back around to the water pump, then to the crank, back up to the alternator. I am not running power steering.

Once again, I'd love to see photos and part numbers for compressors that have been used. Thanks for your time.

Most generic kits use the Sanden S7 compressor...do you think this would fit? A high mount compressor looks...well, it ain't the best
looking thing or most impressive placement in a hot-rod engine bay! In a passenger car or truck - no problem - in a hot-rod - its better to conceal it - its a compressor!

You could try duplicating (fabricating) this design by Roush - this set-up is available "à la carte" and is tight as you will get it on a low-mount. It was
developed by contract for a Superformance GT40 replica. Also pictured is what a friend of mine fabricated for his GT40 - not as impressive as the Roush unit but it is doing the job nicely. Just an idea...
