This is going to hurt. I got to tear this thing back down and paint it. Nobody seems to notice its in gelcoat. I'll say its not finished yet, I have to fix the body and paint it next."Do what?"
The older body may have been more work but it was probably easier to stop driving and start painting. The Mk 4 body is just good enough to tease you but just in need enough to force the issue. I can't stop driving it cold turkey. I 'll work on it and spot it up with primer until its nice and ugly and mayby it won't hurt so bad...

Can't wait til I have to deal with this kind of problem. My goal is to drive it for a summer and then have it painted...

What kind of side mirrors are those?

Those are the world famous FFR forum discused and recomended Speedway 4" Peep mirrors. A best buy if there ever was one, $30.00 for a pair.

Just got 2 Speedway 4" Peep mirrors. There are great for the money. Very easy to put on, right Jeff? Good vision on driver side, fair on passenger side.
