Was wondering, why isn't there a certificate for thefactoryfiveforum? While I haven't posted anything of value (as of yet) makes me a little nervous to input a password that won't be encrypted.

If you want your password to be secured, as well as what you post, no problem. First use the link "http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showt...little-support" and drop some serious coin. Then wait.

No need for that. The forum already has a cert so just use https://www.thefactoryfiveforum.com

That forwards back to http.
This site and "the other forum" SSL is broken.

Excellent. That was the one thing that kept me from joining for a long time.
Eventually I needed to message someone about a FS item and bit the bullet, but it still made me nervous.

That will show up if the website loads any external resource (e.g. background image) using http instead of https.
The offending resources in this case appear to be related to attachments, some static images, and the site banner ads. This is easily correctable, and I wouldn't be too concerned in the meantime as long as it does get fixed. It's a heck of a lot better than the situation before where passwords were being sent in cleartext (not encrypted).

Interesting... How about now?
:)
seems to be fixed now... no more funny icon at the top
Dave,
Not that I am concerned about having any information on the forum or in my profile leaked (The Office of Personnel Management breach compromised anything I would ever want to keep private), but here is what I see in my browser (MS Edge):
80483
I'm using https, but the site isn't using encryption according to the warning Edge provides me.
