Is it possible to use the Getrag 7DCI700 in a roadster? Anyone have any resources for this? Heck... I can't even figure out how I would order one :)

You can do anything with a welder with these cars. That being said, what would the gearbox cost, the torque rating if my conversion is correct is 516 Foot Pounds of torque, so big HP should not be a limiting factor..

I'd like to build a roadster with paddle shifters. Sourcing the transmission is appearing difficult.
Has anyone implemented ferrari like paddle shift in a FFR car?

If you just want the paddle shifter function, there are several manufactures that have paddle shifters for automatic transmissions, and I know that there are several FFR builders looking at doing that exactly.
