Ls1 fits in the RX7 so I would think it would go the other way too. I have thought of this option to but have not come up with a good transmission option.

"RX-Heven" / "Dave" is building a 20B powered RCR Superlite (I think he is "Dave" on the gt-40 forum). Not sure what the status is, but I believe he is using a G50 variant. I think that Kennedy Engineering or possibly Dave or Fran (@ RCR) would be able to point you in the right direction for the adapter. But the work has been done by someone. The 13B will definitely fit and the 20B would fit too. Why have two rotors when you can have three?...or four?

Issues - motor mounts, exhaust...doing something custom you will need a lot of bespoke parts. Edit...with the turbo and stock intake set up on FD there could be some additional challenges, I was thinking more NA, but if you can think it, you can do it.

Rotary will fit no problem, but output will be difficult to match the LS. Kennedy has an adapter kit for Mazda rotary to Porsche/VW in stock, so since the Mendeola can be specified with either a Chevy bellhousing or a Porsche/VW bellhousing, there should be no issues if you want to use either the Mendeola or the Porsche gearboxs. :)
