Coupe hood gas struts

Working on a Gen 3 coupe. It came with 2 sets of gas struts one for the hatch and one for the hood. Both sets are 17 inches extended and about 11 inches collapsed, 28 and 40 lb. It looks like the 40lb set are for the hatch and I think they are OK.
But the hood ones look to be way too short, what do you guy have? I think I will be calling FFR next week.

Sounds like you got the wrong ones. Mine are 35 inches extended.

Checked what came with mine.

Hood struts are 35.5 long, marked Suspa C16-25583. Appears to be a custom Suspa number, but found they are the same ones apparently used on the GTM, and are 25# rated. Box 3B if that matters.

Hatch struts struts are 17 long, marked Suspa C16-06874. 40# rated. Box 8B.

Based on Mike's response, looks like I received the right ones. Doesn't look like you were so lucky. I'm sure FF will make it right.
